Ukrainian Company Huless Secures Over $1 Million for Tethered Drone Systems
Ukrainian company Huless has announced a successful funding round, securing over $1 million for their innovative tethered drone systems. The funding, received from private financing, loans, and grants, will be used to enhance their flagship product, the Highline-T drone, which is set to revolutionize military communication methods.
The Highline-T drone can operate for up to four hours at altitudes of up to 100 meters without GPS signals, making it a key tool for enhancing military communications. Unlike traditional attack drones, the Highline-T acts as a mobile aerial antenna, improving operational safety and effectiveness for military forces.
The funding will be used to strengthen Huless’s market presence and further develop their tethered drone technology. This initiative, backed by the Ukrainian Defense Tech cluster Brave1, aims to create an “ecosystem of mobile military communications,” with the Highline-T as a central component.
Angel investors from the Defense Tech Valley summit played a key role in supporting Huless’s fundraising efforts. Mykhailo Fedorov, associated with Brave1 and the Digital Transformation Ministry, emphasized the importance of investing in Ukrainian defense technology as a contribution to NATO’s defense capabilities.
Huless’s focus on advanced technologies like the Highline-T showcases Ukraine’s growing presence in the global military technology sector. By investing in cutting-edge solutions for military communications and electronic threats, Huless and its collaborators are reshaping operational tactics and strategies for military forces.
