The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is reminding landowners of the upcoming deadline on July 1 to digitally post their land for the 2025-26 hunting season. Since the introduction of electronic posting four years ago, around 12 million acres have been electronically posted by landowners in the state. The system allows for easier communication between landowners and hunters, with options for providing contact information and receiving notifications via the official Game and Fish Department app. Landowners who missed the deadline last year or did not electronically post their land can still physically post their land at any time. The Game and Fish website provides complete instructions for landowners on how to post their land electronically, with frequently asked questions available for both landowners and hunters. The deadline of July 1 is crucial for Game and Fish to produce print material and digital content prior to the upcoming hunting seasons. For more information and to post land electronically, landowners can log into their My Account on the North Dakota Game and Fish Department website.
