ROCORI’s Brody Woods makes verbal commitment to play football at North Dakota

Brody Woods, a standout football player from ROCORI, has committed to play college football at the University of North Dakota. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound senior impressed coaches with his skills on the defensive side of the ball, earning a scholarship offer from UND. Woods made his verbal commitment to the Fighting Hawks, citing their strong coaching staff and top-notch facilities as key factors in his decision. Despite a hand injury that limited his playing time last season, Woods is looking forward to contributing on both defense and offense in his senior year.

To prepare for his new role as a tight end, Woods has been training with former St. John’s All-American Alex Larson. This offseason work, along with his participation in track and field, is helping Woods improve his speed and strength. Woods will join former ROCORI teammate Grant Tylutki at UND, adding to the excitement of his college football journey. With a supportive family and a competitive spirit, Woods is eager to continue his athletic legacy at the collegiate level.

As Woods looks ahead to his future at UND, he remains focused on getting better every day and helping his team succeed. With the support of his coaches, teammates, and family, Woods is poised to make a significant impact in college football and beyond.
