The Future Caucus, a bipartisan group of millennial and Gen Z lawmakers, aims to bridge the political divide and facilitate conversation between Democrats and Republicans. North Dakota recently became the 36th state to join the Future Caucus, with Democratic Rep. Jayme Davis and Republican Rep. Dawson Holle serving as Co-Chairs for the state chapter. The goal of the caucus is to create a space for collaboration and policy-making that benefits all of North Dakota, despite party lines. Democratic Senator Ryan Braunberger and Republican Senator Claire Cory will also be joining the Future Caucus, adding to the 412 lawmakers nationwide who are part of the group. The Future Caucus strives to promote cooperation and understanding between lawmakers, and ultimately improve policy-making for the benefit of all citizens.
