The South Dakota State women’s basketball team has been selected as a No. 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face off against No. 7 Oklahoma State in the First Round on March 22 in Storrs, Conn. The game will be played on a neutral floor with the tip-off time yet to be determined. The winner will advance to face either No. 2 Connecticut or No. 15 Arkansas State on Monday at UConn’s Gampel Pavilion. This marks the 13th NCAA Tournament appearance for SDSU in 17 seasons of postseason eligibility, having secured the Summit League’s automatic bid by winning the conference tournament.
The Jackrabbit Ticket Office is currently accepting requests for tickets to the First and Second Rounds of the tournament, exclusively for Jackrabbit Club members. The deadline for requests is March 17 at 5 p.m. CST, and requests do not guarantee tickets due to a limited allocation by the NCAA. If tickets become available, they will be distributed based on Jackrabbit Club priority points. Non-club members are advised to buy tickets directly from UConn, with general public sales already underway at uconntickets.com.
