The National Collegiate Hockey Conference has announced the semifinal game times for the 2025 NCHC Frozen Faceoff, with North Dakota set to face off against Western Michigan at 7:37 p.m. The game will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. North Dakota has reached the conference semifinals for the 20th time in the last 21 years, but is aiming for only its third win in the last 10 appearances at the Frozen Faceoff Semifinals.
North Dakota and Western Michigan have previously met twice in the Frozen Faceoff, splitting the contests. UND claimed the first meeting in 2014 with a 5-0 victory, while WMU secured a 4-2 win in the 2022 semifinals.
The game schedule for the Frozen Faceoff includes Denver vs. Arizona State at 4:07 p.m. on Friday, March 21, followed by North Dakota vs. Western Michigan at 7:37 p.m. On Saturday, March 22, there will be an additional game between the Minnesota Wild and Buffalo Sabres at 1:00 p.m., with the Championship Game starting at 7:38 p.m.
