Recently, Williams’ niece took her out to dinner without staff knowledge, prompting the assisted living facility to accuse the niece of evading staff. Williams mentioned on “The View” that her unit on the memory floor is locked, and she needs assistance to leave. She was taken to a hospital for a cognitive exam after dropping a note from her room asking for help.
During the interview, Williams expressed her desire to move on with her life, get her money back, and reunite with her family and friends. She updated fans on the location of her famous purple chair from “The Wendy Williams Show,” indicating she plans to retrieve it once her guardianship ends and she gets an apartment. Williams also stated she is not incapacitated and hopes for the guardianship to end soon.
