North Dakota softball had a successful outing against Tennessee Tech, winning both games of a doubleheader with scores of 7-4 and 8-2. The victories improved North Dakota’s record to 14-11 on the season, marking the program’s best 25-game start in its Division I era and its best start overall since 2000. In the first game, North Dakota rallied from a 3-0 deficit to secure the win. Unity Nelson was outstanding in relief, striking out a career-high eight batters. In the second game, North Dakota continued their offensive success, scoring six of their eight runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Makaela Carr put on a strong performance, pitching around seven hits to win her seventh game of the season. The team now looks ahead to the ETSU Invitational in Tennessee, where they will face East Tennessee State and Dartmouth twice.
