Sioux Falls Police Department is investigating a crash that took place on Sunday evening. A 38-year-old woman was found dead in her car after it collided with a front-end loader on 52nd Street North and North Cliff Avenue. The crash happened after her vehicle side-swiped another car and then left the road. The occupants of the other car were unharmed. The police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved, and it appears that the victim was not wearing a seatbelt. The investigation is ongoing, and the victim’s name has not yet been released. Cliff Avenue was closed during the investigation, and a drone was used for aerial photography of the scene. The community is mourning the loss of the woman as the police work to determine the cause of the tragic accident.
