Onee Korean Fried Chicken and Bar is set to bring the flavors of Korea to West Fargo with a new location opening in late April or May. The menu will feature Korean style fried chicken, including a spicy sauce from the Korean peninsula, as well as other Asian favorites like kimchi fried rice, cheese tonkatsu, and bibimbap. The restaurant will also offer Korean style appetizers, cocktails, and beer in a relaxed bar or lounge setting.
Owned by Scott Chen and Nate Lin, partners in several other Fargo-Moorhead restaurants, Onee aims to introduce more Korean cuisine to the area. With Korean food becoming increasingly popular in the United States, the restaurant is set to capitalize on the trend. The owners chose the name “Onee,” meaning “older sister” in Korean, to make it easier for customers to pronounce. This new addition to the local dining scene will provide a unique and exciting dining experience for residents of West Fargo.
