Hawks’ campaign ends in Summit League semifinals against UST

The Summit League Tournament semifinal game saw the upset-minded North Dakota Fighting Hawks fall to the second-seeded St. Thomas Tommies in a strong second-half performance. Despite a fast start from the Fighting Hawks, the Tommies came back and ultimately won the game 85-69, ending UND’s season at 12-21 overall. The Hawks were led by performances from King, Panoam, and Kuljuhovic, but struggled with turnovers and points off of turnovers in the game. The Tommies forced 17 steals, the most by a UND opponent this season, and finished 12-of-29 from three-point range. While UND made a comeback attempt in the second half, they were unable to close the gap as the Tommies secured the victory.
