In an outstanding performance, Treysen Eaglestaff scored a Summit League-record 51 points to lead North Dakota to an 85-69 victory over South Dakota State in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Despite South Dakota State’s best efforts, led by Oscar Cluff’s 27 points and 17 rebounds, North Dakota’s victory secured them a spot in the semifinals against St. Thomas-Minnesota.
St. Thomas, currently ineligible for the NCAA tournament due to their transition to Division I, will have a shot at victory in the conference tournament.
