South Dakota State head coach Dan Jackson has made two key additions to the Jackrabbits’ football support staff, hiring Tyler Wrice as general manager and Ethan Beisner as director of operations. Wrice, a former collegiate player at North Dakota State, will be responsible for roster and scholarship management, as well as handling Name, Image, and Likeness activities. Beisner, who previously worked at Sam Houston State, will oversee team travel, meals, and on-campus recruiting.
Jackson expressed excitement about the new hires, praising Wrice’s organization and energy, and highlighting Beisner’s experience and understanding of the program. Both Wrice and Beisner bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective roles, with Wrice having coached high school football and Beisner holding previous positions at Central Missouri and Southwest Baptist University.
The Jackrabbits have already begun their spring practices and are gearing up for their annual spring game on April 12, with the 2025 season opener scheduled for August 30 against Sacramento State. With the addition of Wrice and Beisner to the support staff, South Dakota State football is poised for success both on and off the field in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more updates on the Jackrabbits’ progress as they prepare for the upcoming season.
