Sunset Tennis Club, a popular ‘floating’ tennis club in Los Angeles, is expanding with the opening of a new location in Tarzana this month. The club, founded by Anna and Kacper Owsian, aims to create a community-driven tennis-social club inspired by the retro tennis culture of the 1970s and 1980s.
With a focus on providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for players of all levels, Sunset Tennis Club offers private lessons, weekly group clinics, and special rates on lessons for its members. In addition, members can enjoy exclusive benefits such as guest passes, invitations to VIP events, and access to lifestyle partner benefits.
The club has experienced significant growth, with a 300% increase in revenue in the first year and a 200% increase in the second year. Sunset Tennis Club has plans for further expansion, including events in Palm Springs and internationally, in alignment with the ATP Master’s Tour schedule.
In addition to expanding to the East Coast this summer with the opening of a location in the Hamptons, Sunset Tennis Club is also looking to bring its unique tennis experience to international markets. Pop-up events are being planned for prestigious tournaments such as Wimbledon in London and Rolland Garros in France.
The opening of the new Tarzana location marks the continued success and growth of Sunset Tennis Club, which has become a popular destination for tennis enthusiasts looking for a blend of sport and social interaction in the Los Angeles area.
