North Dakota Celebrates ‘Pride of Dakota Month’ in March


North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong has declared March 2025 as Pride of Dakota Month, with businesses celebrating at the Capitol on March 6. More than 25 Pride of Dakota companies will showcase their products such as gourmet foods, art, jewelry, and home decor. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring encouraged visitors to shop local and support North Dakota products. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Memorial Hall and Legislative Hall, with lunch available at the Capitol Café featuring North Dakota commodities. Admission is free, and visitors can park on the east and south sides of the Capitol. The Pride of Dakota program, celebrating its 40th year, supports over 500 North Dakota businesses by providing marketing events, educational opportunities, and representation at expos.
