A 28-year-old man was driving a Toyota Tundra northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 75 when he collided head-on with a Jeep Compass, resulting in the death of the 43-year-old female driver from Ennis, Texas. The driver of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
Alcohol is suspected to have been a factor in the collision, although no further details have been provided at this time. The state patrol is expected to release the identity of the deceased driver on Sunday night.
