The Junior League of Albany recently hosted a successful event called “Kids in the Kitchen” at the Albany Mall, aiming to educate children and parents on making healthy lifestyle choices. The event featured various stations, including a cooking class for healthy snacks, activities promoting body positivity and exercise, and a station where children could learn to plant vegetable seeds.
Organizer Cat Saunders emphasized the importance of supporting youth in making good choices and promoting healthy eating and exercise in the community. Attendees expressed appreciation for the event, noting that Albany does not often offer activities catered specifically towards children.
