In a thrilling game at home, the University of North Dakota men’s hockey team fell to Colorado College with a score of 6-4. Despite a tied score of 2-2 going into the third period, a quick succession of goals by Colorado College changed the game in their favor. UND found themselves trailing for the remainder of the game, despite valiant efforts and two goals scored in 6-on-5 situations. Dylan James stood out for UND with two goals and four points.
With this loss, North Dakota drops to fifth place in the NCHC standings. The team will have a chance to redeem themselves as they take on Colorado College once again on Saturday at 6:07 p.m. This was the beginning of UND’s only series of the season against the Tigers. Fans are hopeful for a comeback victory in the upcoming game.
