North Dakota Men’s Hockey Holds Strong Rankings After Unbeaten Weekend
North Dakota Men’s Hockey team maintained its position at No. 16 in the USCHO.com Poll and climbed to No. 16 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll after an impressive weekend against St. Cloud State. The team, with a record of 13-10-2, 8-5-1 NCHC, secured five out of six possible points in the NCHC standings, holding onto fourth place with 10 games remaining in the regular season. Additionally, North Dakota moved up to No. 22 in the Pairwise Rankings, impacting NCAA Tournament selection.
Key players contributed to the team’s success, with standout performances by Jayden Perron, Jayden Jubenvill, and goaltender Hobie Hedquist. Perron scored two goals and one assist, Jubenvill netted his first collegiate goal and finished with a plus-6 rating, and Hedquist made a career-high 33 saves in Saturday’s 6-2 victory.
Looking ahead, North Dakota will face off against No. 20/RV Colorado College this weekend. The series begins on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Midco Sports, NCHC.tv, and the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
