The South Dakota State women’s basketball team dominated Omaha with a 93-63 victory at Baxter Arena. The Jackrabbits remains undefeated in Summit League action with a 9-0 record and an overall record of 19-3. Junior Brooklyn Meyer led all players with 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Katie Vasecka chipped in with 14 points, including four 3-pointers, and Mesa Byom added 12 points. Haleigh Timmer is just two points away from becoming the 44th member of the Jackrabbits’ 1,000 point club. Brooklyn Meyer also surpassed 500 rebounds and 100 blocks for her career in the game. SDSU shot above .500 for the 10th time this season. Grace Cave scored 18 points to lead Omaha in the loss.
