In a surprising announcement on social media, Beyoncé revealed the “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025” with a video displaying a lit up sign on her website homepage. The tour dates have not yet been shared. Beyoncé first performed songs from her album “Cowboy Carter” during the halftime show of a Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas Day, which was streamed on Netflix. The performance is now available as a standalone special on the platform.
Following the announcement, Netflix posted a teaser of the halftime show on X, with flashing colors and a link to watch it, hinting at the upcoming tour. Beyoncé’s label, Parkwood Entertainment, responded to the post by confirming the tour and saying “Saddle up, see y’all on the road.” The announcement of the “Renaissance World Tour” two years ago was also made in early February, coinciding with the beginning of Black History Month.
The album “Cowboy Carter” has earned 11 Grammy nominations, including album of the year, at the 67th Grammy Awards. The lead single, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” has already achieved double platinum status. The album topped both the Billboard Hot 200 and Top Country Albums chart, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to lead the country album list. “Cowboy Carter” is her eighth consecutive studio album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
