The North Dakota High School Activities Association has approved new classifications and adjusted enrollment for the upcoming football season, bringing about changes for several teams. The Class AA State Champion Horace Hawks will be moving up to the AAA level, joining two other schools in the West Fargo School District. This will result in six teams in both the East and West at the AAA level. Additionally, the successful Kindred Vikings and Central Cass Squirrels will be moving up to the EDC at the AA level, while Red River and Grand Forks Central will continue to opt down to AA. Valley City will be transitioning to Class A, and the Sargent County Bulldogs will be moving to Class A after competing at the 9-Man level in recent seasons. These changes will bring new competition and challenges for the upcoming football season. For a full listing of the changes, you can visit the NDHSAA website.
