Delta Air Lines is set to offer Shake Shack cheeseburgers on select flights departing from Boston starting in December as part of a new partnership with the popular burger chain. The cheeseburgers will be available only to first-class fliers on routes over 900 miles, who can pre-select the meal option up to 24 hours in advance using the Fly Delta app or email link. In addition to the cheeseburger, passengers will also receive a Caesar salad, chips, and a dark chocolate brownie. Delta’s Managing Director of Onboard Service emphasized the popularity of burgers among passengers and the excitement to offer Shake Shack cheeseburgers. Shake Shack’s President of Global Licensing expressed their commitment to meeting guests’ needs even at 35,000 feet and partnering with Delta to enhance the in-flight dining experience. The partnership is expected to expand to other U.S. markets through 2025, but it is unclear if main cabin customers will have access to the cheeseburger offering. The collaboration aims to provide a unique and elevated dining experience for travelers on Delta flights.
