Royal Windsor Castle Estate Targeted by Burglars; Princess Kate’s Vehicles Stolen

In October, burglars broke into the grounds of Britain’s royal Windsor Castle and stole two vehicles, a black Izuzu pickup and a red quad bike. The incident was reported to Thames Valley Police, who are currently investigating the crime. The royal family members, including Prince William and Princess Kate, live nearby at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, while King Charles III and Queen Camilla reside primarily at Clarence House in London. This is not the first security breach in Windsor, as in 2021, a man armed with a crossbow climbed a fence at Windsor Castle claiming he wanted to kill Queen Elizabeth II. The man was subsequently sentenced to nine years in prison for various offenses related to the incident. Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have not yet commented on the recent burglary. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
