North Dakota State cruises past Missouri State to secure at least a portion of MVFC title


North Dakota State’s quarterback Cam Miller threw for a career-high four touchdowns in a dominating 59-21 victory over Missouri State. The win secured NDSU’s 11th Missouri Valley Football Conference title and sole possession of first place in the league standings. Backup quarterback Nathan Hayes also joined the scoring frenzy with a touchdown of his own.

NDSU has now won 13 straight games against Missouri State and holds a commanding 14-2 lead in the all-time series between the two teams. Missouri State’s Jacob Clark led the Bears with 247 passing yards in the game.

With this victory, North Dakota State solidified its position as a powerhouse in the Missouri Valley Football Conference and set the stage for a potential run in the playoffs.
