The Cass County Conservation Board is hosting two free workshops next weekend at the Outdoor Educational Classroom in Massena. On Saturday, November 23, a Bird Feeder Workshop will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a Nature Journaling Workshop at 1 p.m. Both workshops are open to all ages, with children required to be accompanied by an adult.
During the Bird Feeder Workshop, participants will learn about feeding birds and have the opportunity to create their own bird feeder to take home. The Nature Journaling Workshop will focus on techniques for journaling about nature, with attendees also able to make and take their own journal.
The workshops aim to provide educational and interactive experiences for individuals interested in learning more about birds and nature journaling. These events are part of the Cass County Conservation Board’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and outdoor education within the community.
Those interested in attending either workshop are encouraged to RSVP in advance, as space may be limited. The workshops promise to be fun-filled and informative activities for individuals of all ages to enjoy in the beautiful setting of the Outdoor Educational Classroom in Massena.
