Marquette University’s Employee Wellness Center has recently undergone a technology upgrade, providing employees with the option to use their personal devices or the center’s cable TV subscription for entertainment while working out. The center now features updated monitors, WiFi and Bluetooth capability, enhancing the overall wellness experience for faculty and staff.
The Employee Wellness Center is a dedicated space offering cardio, agility, flexibility, and free weight training equipment, as well as restroom, shower, and water-filling facilities. Open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., the center is free and exclusive to Marquette employees. Before using the facility, employees are required to sign a waiver available in the rec sports member portal, but they do not need to be a Rec Center member to access the Employee Wellness Center.
In addition to the physical wellness resources available at the center, Marquette offers the My Wellness program, which provides tools to help manage health, track activity, support financial wellness, and more. Employees interested in additional resources through the My Wellness program are encouraged to visit the program’s website. The program also offers 1:1 confidential coaching resources at no cost.
Overall, Marquette University is committed to providing comprehensive wellness resources to its employees, including a upgraded Employee Wellness Center and the My Wellness program, to support their overall wellbeing.
