Incumbent Senator John Hoeven has amassed a sizable war chest, with over $2 million in campaign funds. His Democratic challenger, Jay Bross, has raised only a fraction of that amount, around $47,000. Despite the financial disparity, Bross remains optimistic about his chances and believes in the power of grassroots support.
In the race for the state’s lone House seat, Republican candidate Kelly Armstrong is also leading in fundraising. Armstrong has raised over $1.5 million, with his Democratic opponent, Zach Raknerud, trailing behind at around $300,000. Similarly, incumbent Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has raised significantly more funds than his Democratic challenger, David Thompson.
