The West Minot Church of God was honored with the Flickertail Award at this year’s North Dakota State Parade, while other winners included First Western Bank & Trust, Magic City Electric, North American Coal, BNSF Railway, Minot Trail Riders, and more. The Minot North Cheer Team was awarded the Youth Sweepstakes Award, and the parade’s theme was “XTRA! XTRA! North Dakota Hot News.” The Grand Marshal Award went to First Western Bank & Trust, and the Governor’s Award was given to Realty ONE Group Magnum. Chaos erupted at the MHA Indian Relay Final during the North Dakota State Fair, which took place at the Minot fairgrounds.
