A tragic two-vehicle crash in Fargo resulted in one fatality and three injuries on Thursday night. The incident occurred at the intersection of 25th Street South and 13th Avenue South shortly after 10:30 pm. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a motorcycle driver traveling eastbound on 13th Avenue ran a red light and collided with a car heading southbound on 25th Street with a green light. The impact caused both individuals on the motorcycle, a 47-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, to be thrown off. Tragically, the driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the female passenger was rushed to Sanford Hospital with life-threatening injuries. It was noted that neither of them were wearing helmets. The driver and a passenger in the car were also injured in the crash and were taken to Essentia Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The individuals involved in the crash were identified as residents of Fargo. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing, with authorities urging all drivers to adhere to traffic signals and always prioritize safety while on the road.
